Introducing the Next Best Thing in Clean Beauty for Young Guys and Gals: Welbe Beauty

DALLAS (September 28, 2020) – Welbe Beauty, a new brand dedicated to creating clean skincare, hygiene and wellness products for tween and young teen guys and gals has launched. Welbe is releasing four products including a face wash, face moisturizer, head-to-toe, all-in-one moisturizing shower wash and an aluminum free deodorant. Welbe is the brainchild of Steph Weibring, designer, brand expert and mother of three. One of those three happens to be her 11-year-old daughter Marlie, who is the muse and inspiration behind the brand. In addition to squeaky clean ingredients, Weibring wanted the packaging to be something

Marlie could keep in her bathroom and shower and not age out of too quickly. Although Welbe’s packaging is awesome, it’s what’s on the inside that counts, just like we tell our kids, right?

When Marlie started getting into bath and beauty products — from bath bombs to lip gloss to eventually needing her own face wash — Weibring saw a gap in the market. Where were the non-baby bath products that didn’t have gross, toxic ingredients and didn’t cost a fortune? Why is the same brand of face wash that Weibring used as a teenager TWO DECADES AGO (hey, age is just a number) still a thing? Where is a deodorant for boys, that doesn’t make them smell like a 50 year old mountain man? There was an obvious hole in the clean beauty market, one that Weibring simply couldn’t ignore and just like that (and 18 months of R&D), Welbe was born.

Welbe set out to clean up skincare for tweens and help them create lifelong hygiene routines. To smell or not to smell is not a valid question, said all parents everywhere. This group of 8-14 year olds are being nudged and hurried to use adult products that aren’t formulated just for them. Weibring adds, “we want to teach them the right way to take care of themselves, with the best products made just for them and keep them younger just a bit longer.” Now, that's a brand we can get behind!
